  • What could you do with £30,000 of R&D?

    Morgan Innovation & Technology have been helping innovators and inventors to bring new products to market for 30 years.

    To celebrate this anniversary in 2017, we have launched the Morgan Innovation & Technology Prize, which will be awarded to the product that the judges feel has the potential to make the biggest impact and will make best use of the prize to further their product.

    The chamber made the presentation at its monthly breakfast networking event, held at the Penventon.

  • PIC client Jonathan Trethowan braves torrential rain to complete charity challenge

    A team of cyclists, including two from Falmouth and Helston, pedalled more than 200 miles, braving wind, rain and steep terrain to complete the Tour de Cornwall and raise more than £9,200 for the county’s air ambulance service.

    Ten people, including Jamie Smith from Falmouth and Katie Evans from Helston, took on the charity challenge organised by Cornwall Air Ambulance. The cyclists zig-zagged their way along the length and breadth of Cornwall.

    The founder of Cornwall tech firm and PIC client Headforwards has been announced as the new chairman of Tech South West.

    Toby Parkins has over 25 years’ experience working in the tech sector, is managing director of UKNetWeb, founding director of Headforwards, founder of the Agile on the Beach conference and Software Cornwall and president of the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce.

  • Chamber Innovation Investment Network - Investment Readiness Events

    Cornwall Chamber of Commerce launched the Chamber Innovation Investment Network (CIIN) during Cornwall Business Week this year. In conjunction with Plymouth University's Innovation Centres and Mylor Ventures, free Investment Readiness events will take place to prepare a shortlist of companies seeking investment from Business Angels.
