    Cornwall’s fast-growing tech sector has once again been singled out for its “impressive growth” in this year’s Tech Nation report, the annual survey of the UK’s tech economy.

    The report, published 17th May, says Cornwall’s digital connectivity, quality of life and helpful tech community were key strengths and meant the sector’s impressive growth of the last few years “shows no sign of slowing down”.

  • St Austell Pop-up Innovation Centre opens

    Acceleration Through Innovation have this month opened their latest Pop-up Innovation Centre in St Austell, following the success of ones hosted in Bodmin and Launceston.

    The new Pop-up Innovation Centre opened for business on Tuesday 10th April in Unit 15-16 at St Austell Business Park and will operate until the end of July 2018.

    Formation Zone have teamed up with Santander Universities to offer £2,000 bursaries to final-year students looking to start their own business after graduation, whose financial circumstances might make this seem unachievable.

    The bursaries are designed to help students who are ready to start their business after finishing their studies, but need a cash boost to help them on their way, and are an extension of the partnership between Formation Zone, the University of Plymouth, and Santander Universities.
