  • PIC client Headforwards recruits 100th person

    It has been just over 12 months since PIC client and local outsource software development company Headforwards celebrated their 5th birthday.

    On their 5th birthday they set out some rather ambitious targets for themselves, one of which was to reach 100 employees by May 2017. Astoundingly, Headforwards have reached that target and they are currently advertising for the 100th person to join their team.

  • Double dose of innovation for Cornwall

    Two of Cornwall’s best known innovation brands are collaborating to make a truly comprehensive programme of support available to ambitious local businesses.

    The exciting new arrangement will see Oxford Innovation providing Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIR) in each of Cornwall Innovation’s three Innovation Centres; Treliske, Tremough and Pool.

    A monthly subscription service to help people with depression, a social enterprise based around West African cooking, and a way of using technology to improve golfing technique are among the student enterprises awarded funding through a University of Plymouth initiative.

  • Triple win for PIC client Headforwards at Cornwall Business Awards 2017

    Headforwards, the Redruth-based software company, were named Winner of Winners at the 2017 Cornwall Business Awards ceremony.

    The company received their award in front of 350 local business leaders at a glittering event hosted at St Mellion International Resort, where England rugby hero, Matt Dawson MBE, was the guest speaker.
